Meaning
A period when a person, artist, brand, project, or other thing is performing poorly, losing popularity, or going through a noticeable decline. The phrase appears to have entered broader online fan vocabulary during the early 2010s, when music-focused communities used it for underperforming pop-star releases. How to use it
