Best of Zach is a meme built from OneyPlays' six-hour-plus compilation of videos featuring Zach, also known as PsychicPebbles. The 2020 upload supplied the phrase and recognizable thumbnail; the joke later came from treating that oversized gaming compilation as if it were a revered cultural object.

The earliest located public use of the material as a reusable meme format was posted by KittoBitto to r/OneyPlays on March 31, 2022. It placed the BEST OF ZACH thumbnail inside the “This touchdown's for you, Jesus!” image format, making the compilation itself the treasured object in the scene.

That framing matched the community's already exaggerated affection for the source. In the 2020 discussion, viewers reacted to the six-hour runtime with disbelief, called the release “Christmas came early,” and joked about watching it repeatedly. In the 2022 thread, commenters said the long video still felt short and described saving it to listen to while travelling.

The format changed substantially on June 23, 2026, when Noodlization (@DinkyKong64) posted an 81-second audiovisual version on X. It is the earliest public audiovisual version located in the verified record, not a confirmed claim about the format's absolute first upload. By August 5, the post showed 6,059 likes, 855 reposts and 30 replies.

A second documented branch used captions to detach the video from its original OneyPlays context. On July 12, hazy spyral (@Tym3B0Mb) reused the same 81-second format with “what bladee sounds like when u aren’t 15 anymore.” That post showed 361,091 views, 9,315 likes, 952 reposts, 86 quotes and 82 replies on August 5. The underlying clip stayed intact while the caption turned it into a music-comparison joke.

The documented versions preserve a compact recognition cue: the large BEST OF ZACH title and the compilation thumbnail. The 2022 edit can drop that image into another template without changing its wording, while the 2026 version can be reused as an 81-second video and given a completely different caption. What stays fixed is the recognizable source object; what changes is the frame around it—reverence in the Reddit image, then music comparison in the later X post.
