Meaning
An informal, intentionally respelled form of thick used to praise a person with a full, curvy, or muscular build. Thicc most often refers to prominent hips, thighs, or buttocks, but it can also describe a burly man, a husky animal, or a hefty object in a humorous or exaggerated way.[1][3]

Origin and spread
Thicc is an intentional respelling of thick, a body descriptor used in African American English since at least the 1990s for a voluptuous woman. The particular spelling appears in early-2000s online material, with an earliest documented internet example dated November 4, 2004, on an Angelfire hip-hop fan page. It circulated more widely through hip-hop and online communities during the 2010s, then became especially visible in humorous posts and memes describing cartoon characters, animals, and objects.[2]
How to use it
Thicc is casual, visual, and often flirtatious or joking. It can be a compliment when the person being described welcomes it, but comments about someone’s body may feel objectifying, sexual, or insulting when the relationship and context do not support them. For animals, food, objects, and fictional characters, the word is usually playful rather than literal.
